Petr Glogar is a Discalced Carmelite, he served as the prior of the Discalced Carmelite monastery at the Infant Jesus of Prague in Prague. He participated in the construction of the Carmelite monastery in Slaný and a few years ago opened Fortna, a monastery on Hradčany Square in Prague, which overturns the conventional ideas about what a monastery is.
Since 2021, the Kwan Um Zen school has been regularly organizing 3 multi-day meditation retreats at Fortna Monastery.
